Keynote Panel:


Jennifer ArnoldJennifer Arnold is the Executive Director of Libraries at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. In addition to her MLIS from the University of South Florida, Jennifer has a Master of Public Administration from UNCChapel Hill. Jennifer has published and presented on a number of topics, including library administration and management, collection development and assessment, outcomes assessment, and library buildings. a t Her professional service includes a term as NASIG Treasurer, serving on the Resources for College Libraries Editorial Board, and chairing the Project Outcome for Academic Libraries Editorial Board. She is currently the co-chair of the ACRL/CORE Academic Library Facilities Survey Editorial Board and an instructor for CORE's Fundamentals of College Development and Management and Fundamentals of Acquisitions e-learning courses. Jennifer is also serving as the community college representative and chair of NC LIVE’s Executive Council.

Emery McTindal is the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, where she leads work at the intersection of technology, creativity, and community impact. With over 15 years of experience in public-sector leadership, she is deeply interested in how emerging technologies shape how we learn, work, and connect with one another.





Jill Sexton has served as the Dean of the J. Murrey Atkins Library at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since March 2025. Since joining UNC Charlotte, she has led efforts to enhance the physical environment of Atkins Library through furniture and building master plans, and has partnered with colleagues across the university to envision expanded research support services that meet the evolving needs of the campus community. Her career emphasizes collaborative and inclusive leadership, cross-campus partnerships, and merging technology with facilities design to enhance library services.

Prior to her current role, Sexton had several positions within the University of North Carolina system. At NC State University Libraries, she served as Head of Information Technology and then Associate Director for Digital and Organizational Strategy. While at NC State, she co-chaired the university's AI Advisory Group, was instrumental in leading a multimillion-dollar esports initiative, and co-founded the Women in Tech employee resource group. She also previously served as Head of Digital Research Services at UNC Chapel Hill, with experience spanning digital humanities, software development, digital preservation, and institutional repositories.
