Description of presentation: The ALA Task Force on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) developed a plan and strategic actions to build more equity, diversity, and inclusion among its membership, the profession, and the communities we serve. As these recommendations have been taken up for implementation by ALA, we want to continue public and honest conversations that help keep these issues at the forefront. This webinar will cover how ALA started the EDI conversation, what has happened within the Association since then, and some examples of EDI initiatives from libraries across the country.
