Raye Oldham has been the Federal Programs Consultant at the State Library of North Carolina since 2010, where her primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and management for North Carolina’s four million dollar Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Grant Program.   Raye began her career at the State Library in 2003 as the Continuing Education Consultant and before that she worked in circulation for six years at a community college library. 

 

Raye grew up in MI then moved to AZ, MS, CA and AK before moving to NC in 1996, where she earned her MLS from UNC Greensboro in 2002. 

 

Raye’s favorite reading genres are historical fiction, mystery/suspense, and inspirational.
